We are a community of older adults dedicated to deepening our spiritual journeys as we live out the last third of our lives. We seek to provide safe space where we can listen to the wisdom of God’s spirit revealing itself from our own souls and in conversations with each other. We are partially funded by The Episcopal Diocese of West Texas, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas.
We gather regularly in large and small groups online where we create space for listening for deep wisdom. Using resources from authors, poets, and artists, we dig deeply to find meaning and guidance for this time of our lives.
The community is facilitated by a core group who manages the operational details – choosing resources to consider, running the technical aspects of Zoom, keeping the community organized, and updating our website But we come together in circles of safe space where we receive from each other.
We practice the art of “holding space” for each other to discern without judgment or criticism. And we metaphorically leave an empty chair for others to join us.
