In her book An Altar in the World, Barbara Brown Taylor shows us how to find spiritual meaning in everyday activities such as wearing skin and walking on the earth. Taylor reminds us that our ordinary choices can strengthen our paths to God.
The Wisdom Years community will read and discuss An Altar in the World beginning Thursday, January 15. Our format is to read from the book on our own, one chapter a week, then gather online by Zoom for conversation in large and small groups on Thursdays, 4 to 5:15 p.m. (Central time). Each chapter in this book stands on its own, so you may join the study at any time. There is no charge for this study, but you will need to supply your own book.
