Whom from your past has guided your spiritual journey? Who are the angels and other spiritual beings that have surrounded you and attended to you?
In The Love of Thousands, author Christine Valters Paintner invites us to open ourselves toward those who have gone before and now extend loving care and compassion. to us. “They are resources to help sustain and inspire us,” says Paintner.
In our fall 2026 study we will look briefly at angels and saints, then spend several weeks with our “wise and well” ancestors discovering what they have to teach us.
We will read The Love of Thousands on our own, then gather on Thursday afternoons for conversation about what the reading had to say to us.
We meet by Zoom from 4 to 5:15 p.m (Central time) in large and small groups.
There is no cost for this study, but you will have to buy your own book. Order from St. Marks Bookstore at https://www.stmarksbookstore.com/ or other retailer.
