A new online book discussion from the Wisdom Years.
September 9 through October 28, 2021
Thursdays, 4 to 5:15 p.m. (Central time)
In these years, as we leave behind all that no longer serves us well and enter into the deeper life of communion with the Holy Spirit, we find that our souls have something to say to us.
The Seven Whispers can serve as guide to listening to that inner voice. Through seven phrases or whispers, author Christina Baldwin invites us to clear away the clutter and listen deeply. Baldwin is a pioneer in the circle method of learning, through which participants claim their own discoveries and insights, a model The Wisdom Years follows.
In eight sessions, we will consider

Introduction to the book
Maintaining peace of mind
Moving at the pace of guidance
Practicing certainty of purpose
Surrendering to surprise
Asking for what we need and offering what we can
Loving the folks in front of us
Returning to the world
Participants will read a chapter of the book on their own each week, then come together by Zoom on Thursday afternoons at 4 p.m. (Central time) for large-group and small-group harvesting of insights and revelations. Together we will see how our souls are calling each of us to continue to grow into the exact person God created us to be.
You will need to buy the book and have it by Sept 9. (Ordering takes longer these days.) To buy from St. Mark’s Bookstore, contact Carla Pineda at carlaleedpineda@gmail.com.
