A Prodigal God

God is over-generous, over-lavish, over-extravagant, over-prodigious, over-rich, and over-patient. That is both a challenge and a consolation for us. The challenge is how to respond to God’s generosity. The consolation is that no matter how many times we refuse God, we are given an infinite number of times to respond.
